Here, you’ll find engineers driven by purpose, and a team culture that values autonomy, clarity, and real impact over hierarchy and noise.As Head of Cloud, you will own everything related to our Battery Cloud - STABL’s cloud-based platform that connects and manages our fleet of battery energy storage systems (BESS). You’ll lead the design and operation of the entire product-related cloud stack: from IoT connectivity to data pipelines, from device fleet management to internal service tools.This role bridges cloud infrastructure, embedded edge systems, and product development. You’ll work closely with our service, operations, compliance, and firmware teams to build a robust, compliant, and scalable platform.Your missionLead the Cloud team, driving the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our product cloud platformManage and evolve our IoT and edge device fleet management systemsBuild and maintain high-performance data pipelines and time-series data storageEnsure our internal service portal delivers a first-class operational experienceImplement and maintain security and compliance requirementsCoordinate with multiple stakeholders across teams to align technical decisions with business prioritiesDefine and enforce best practices for cloud operations, observability, and cost efficiencyPlan team growth and structure as we scaleYour profileProven experience leading cloud development teams in a startup or fast-moving product environmentDeep understanding of modern cloud architectures, IoT systems, and data pipelines with hands-on experience in AWS (IoT, Kinesis, Lambda)Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and handling time-series or analytical data as well as programming skills in TypeScript and PythonSolid hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform and CDK or CDKTF), observability and automation (CI/CD pipelines)Strategic mindset paired with the ability to execute and deliver in dynamic environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMotivation to build systems that connect the physical and digital worldsExperience in web development and embedded devices is beneficialWhy STABL Energy?STABL Energy is one of the most innovative start-ups in the energy transition, ees Award winner and named a global Top100 Energy Start-up.
