We are looking for a Head of Commercial Operations for a Furniture Company based in Dubai. Location – Dubai, UAESalary – 20,000 AED/month Qualifications:Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in commercial operations, logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational leadership role.Proven experience managing delivery, collection, procurement, and production workflows across retail, studio, online, and design environments.Strong background in vendor management, supplier coordination, pricing, and procurement processes.Demonstrated ability to oversee custom product lifecycles—from inquiry to production through to final delivery.Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including retail, sales, design, logistics, and operations.Ability to manage key client deliveries and high-value projects with premium service levels and attention to detail.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving parts simultaneously.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide, motivate, and collaborate with teams in a dynamic environment.Commercially aware, with understanding of margins, costing, and value-driving decisions.Strong negotiation and vendor-relationship skills with ability to ensure quality and accountability from suppliers.Ability to handle fast-paced environments with composure and calm decision-making.Proficient with systems such as Excel, Shopify, and project management tools.Key Responsibilities:Deliveries & CollectionsOversee and streamline all delivery and collection workflows across retail, studio, online, and design divisions.Manage key client deliveries, ensuring premium service quality and meticulous attention to detail for complex or high-value projects.Coordinate team activities for the collection and delivery of samples for trade clients and production teams.Custom Product Inquiries & OrdersAct as the primary point of contact for all internal and external custom product inquiries.Liaise with internal teams and external partners to assess feasibility, gather quotations, and finalise pricing.Manage the complete lifecycle of custom orders—from concept through production to final delivery—ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met.Oversee procurement of specialised materials, track progress, and communicate updates across relevant departments.Procurement & Trade ProjectsSource products, finishes, and materials in line with trade project specifications.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships (both local and international) to secure consistent quality.Prepare supplier costings and quotations for pricing, tendering, and budgeting.Oversee supplier workflow—from purchase requisition to delivery—and support finance where needed.Team Coordination & Operations SupportProvide leadership and coordination support across sales, design, and operations teams.Manage team scheduling for installations, deliveries, and collections to ensure smooth workflow.Monitor team performance and maintain essential stock levels.Product Development & Event SupportCoordinate team efforts for new product development and brand event launches.Oversee supplier timelines, orders, and logistics to support creative and operational requirements.Work with design and marketing teams to ensure readiness for showroom activations.Key Attributes & SkillsEngaging, approachable, and skilled in communication and relationship building.Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and operational complexity.Proactive, solutions-driven, and skilled at anticipating challenges and finding effective solutions.Commercially savvy with a strong grasp of margins, costing, and balancing value with quality.A collaborative leader who motivates teams and leads by example.Strong in negotiation and vendor management with the ability to build productive supplier relationships.Calm, composed, and capable of navigating fast-paced operational environments.Proficient in Excel, Shopify, and project management tools.About the Role:We are seeking for a Head of Commercial Operations who plays a pivotal role in connecting the company’s creative, retail, and logistics functions, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery.
