Head of Compliance

My client, a well-established investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead the firm’s regulatory and AML function in Singapore. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring robust governance, regulatory adherence, and ethical business conduct across the organization’s regional operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and maintain a comprehensive compliance and anti-money laundering framework in alignment with MAS and global regulatory standardsProvide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on regulatory developments and compliance risksDevelop, implement, and enhance internal policies, controls, and monitoring procedures to mitigate compliance risksLead internal investigations and manage timely reporting to senior management and regulators when requiredServe as the key liaison with relevant regulatory authorities and external stakeholdersDrive compliance awareness and training across the organization to promote a strong culture of integrity and accountabilityCollaborate with global legal and compliance counterparts to ensure regional alignment and best-practice implementationRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law or related disciplineAt least 10–15 years’ progressive experience in compliance and risk management within the financial services or investment sectorStrong understanding of Singapore’s regulatory landscape (SFA/FAA/AML regulations) and experience managing regulatory relationshipsDemonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage at senior management and board levelsWhat you need to do nowIf you or someone you may know may be interested in this opportunity please do contact me on the details below for more information or drop over an updated CV to my email at Jho@space-exec.comAlternatively, if this job opportunity is not relevant to you, feel free to share across your updated CV to have a confidential discussion on the relevant openings based on your skillsets and expertise.
