What you'll do:As Head of Corporate Communications - Technology Sector based in Jakarta with hybrid working options available, you will be responsible for shaping how the organisation communicates its story both internally among employees and externally to partners, regulators, investors, and industry associations. Your day-to-day activities will involve crafting strategic narratives aligned with business objectives; supporting executive communications through speechwriting; leading thought leadership efforts via articles and conferences; managing crisis responses; collaborating with multiple departments to ensure message consistency; tailoring content for different audiences; setting high standards for all communications; measuring impact; and continuously refining approaches based on feedback. Develop and implement end-to-end communication strategies that address the needs of employees, leadership, partners, regulators, investors, and industry associations.Create and maintain a compelling corporate narrative that accurately reflects the organisation's vision, mission, and business direction.Support executive communication requirements by drafting speeches, memos, talking points, and thought leadership pieces for senior leaders.Lead thought leadership initiatives including authoring industry articles, securing speaking opportunities for executives, producing whitepapers, and coordinating conference participation.Manage crisis communication plans to ensure clear and timely messaging during sensitive or high-impact situations affecting the organisation.Ensure effective information flow across departments by aligning messaging and channels to support a culture of transparency and collaboration.Tailor messaging and content for diverse stakeholder groups such as B2B partners, industry organisations, and community programmes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, PR, HR, Legal, and Product to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms.Establish and maintain robust communication standards encompassing tone of voice, branding guidelines, templates, and other tools that reinforce the company's identity.Measure communication effectiveness by tracking stakeholder engagement metrics and monitoring public reputation to inform continuous improvement. What you bring:Your extensive background in corporate communications equips you with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes while maintaining clarity of message. With over seven years' experience-five of which have been spent in managerial roles-you bring proven expertise in supporting executive-level communications through speechwriting and thought leadership development. Your academic foundation ideally includes a bachelor's degree in communications or related disciplines. You have successfully managed crisis situations requiring sensitive handling of information under pressure. Your interpersonal skills enable you to engage confidently with senior stakeholders from various sectors. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia as well as English ensures your messages resonate widely. You are adept at collaborating across departments to unify brand voice while leveraging data-driven insights for ongoing improvement. Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in corporate communications or related fields such as corporate affairs or public relations.At least 5 years' experience in a managerial or leadership capacity overseeing communication functions within an organisation.Bachelor's degree (BSc), preferably in communications, public relations or legal studies.Demonstrated expertise supporting executive communications including speechwriting for CEOs or senior leaders as well as preparing thought leadership materials.Proven track record managing crisis communications effectively to protect organisational reputation during high-pressure situations.Skilled at engaging senior stakeholders such as investors, regulators or industry groups through tailored messaging strategies.Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English are essential for success in this role.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across marketing campaigns, HR initiatives or legal matters.Ability to measure communication effectiveness using relevant metrics while monitoring public reputation trends.Commitment to continuous improvement by adapting communication approaches based on feedback from stakeholders or changes in business needs.
