We collaborate with leading artists and estates across various domains including printmaking, physical artwork marketplaces, NFTs, publishing, digital, film production, art research, and analysis.The RoleWe are seeking an innovative Head of Ecommerce to lead the sales, marketing, and advertising strategy for HENI Publishing, apparel and merchandise. This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial future of HENI, bringing fresh thinking to how art reach their audiences in an increasingly digital world.The successful candidate will be an ecommerce expert and become responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple channels, from direct-to consumer sales to wholesale partnerships, while maintaining the quality and cultural integrity that defines our brand.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & SalesDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across digital and traditional channelsDrive direct-to-consumer sales through e-commerce, social media, and content marketingCreate innovative campaigns that align book, apparel and merchandise launches with exhibition schedules, art fairs, and cultural eventsBuild and manage relationships with key retail partners, including bookstores, museum shops, and galleriesIdentify and develop new revenue streams and market opportunitiesBusiness DevelopmentExplore and develop new markets, corporate sales, and international distributionDevelop existing merchandising opportunities and ancillary productsResearch and analyse market trends to inform decisionsOperations & Inventory ManagementLiaising with warehouse operations and inventory management systemsImplement forecasting and stock management processesCoordinate with production team on print and manufacturing runs and schedulingEssential RequirementsExperience5+ years in a senior marketing or commercial leadership roleProven track record in digital marketing and D2C salesExperience managing inventory/operations or working closely with operations teamsDemonstrated success in B2B sales or partnership developmentExperience with physical product marketing (not just digital services)SkillsStrong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, YouTube, email, SEO, paid advertising)E-commerce platform experience (Shopify, Magento, or similar)Data analysis and reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationProject management and organisational skillsBudget management experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experience plus benefitsOpportunity to shape the commercial strategy of a growing companyFlexible working arrangementsProfessional development opportunities
