With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today’s volatile market.Redstone Commodity Search are working with an agricultural trading house looking to hire a Head of Energy to develop a new market in Switzerland.Key Responsibilities / TasksLead global diesel and gasoline trading operations, including sourcing, pricing, and executing international commodity deals.Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize margins, manage risk, and capitalize on market opportunities across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe.Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, refiners, and buyers to secure supply contracts and long-term trading partnerships.Collaborate with logistics, finance, and regional teams to ensure smooth execution of trades and alignment with the firm operational capabilities.Role reports directly to CEO.Key Qualifications / Experience 10+ years of experience in international fuel or energy trading, with proven knowledge of diesel and gasoline markets.Leadership experience in building trading teams, guiding cross-functional collaboration, and scaling operations internationally.Strong analytical skills in commodity markets, pricing, risk management, and trading strategy.Proven negotiation and relationship management expertise, with experience securing large-volume contracts.Located or willing to relocate to Geneva.For all positions based in Switzerland, Redstone Search Group work with their licensed Swiss partner Accurity GmbH.
