[Q.7] Head of Engineering | Lead 40+ eng team | Scale global B2B e-commerce platform | Drive tech, culture & delivery excellence-----------------------------We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Engineering to lead, scale, and empower our growing engineering organization. Unlike a hands-on role, this position focuses on strategic leadership, organizational scaling, and technical direction, making it ideal for a leader who thrives on building strong teams, shaping engineering culture, and driving product success through large-scale delivery.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead & Scale TeamsBuild, manage, and grow a high performing engineering and QA organization of 40+ members.Establish structures and leadership layers to support rapid expansion.Foster alignment between product, design, and engineering teams.Drive Technology & R&DDefine and execute the company’s technology vision and architecture roadmap.Champion adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and future ready.Optimize ProcessesDesign and implement best-in-class engineering practices: task allocation, code review, release management, and QA.Improve development velocity, quality, and reliability through automation and process discipline.Institutionalize a data-driven, metrics-based approach to engineering performance.Ensure DeliveryOwn end-to-end execution of the product roadmap from planning to release.Partner closely with Product Management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt proactively.Develop People & CultureMentor and coach engineering leaders; build a strong succession pipeline.Create a collaborative, innovative, and high performance culture.Champion continuous learning and technical excellence.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading large engineering teams (30+ people).Proven success in scaling engineering organizations within fast growing product companies.Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Expertise in agile planning, project management, and SDLC best practices.Proficiency in modern development practices CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and agile delivery.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.Experience building platform-scale products (e.g., e-commerce, supply chain, data platforms, or martech).Strong strategic and technical judgment; capable of balancing long term architecture with short term business priorities.NICE TO HAVEExperience in high growth tech startups or enterprise scale platforms.Hands on background with .NET, C#, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and cloud native technologies (coding not a primary responsibility).Previous experience as Head of Engineering or Director of Engineering is a strong advantage.---------------------------------Unique benefits:Social insurance coverage upon signing your employment contract.Generous leave policy: 12 annual leave days plus all Vietnamese public holidays.13th-month salary (applicable from the probationary period).Company-provided equipment.Well-stocked pantry: tea, coffee, snacks, microwave, etc.Engaging company activities: Company trips, team-building events, regular internal events (including live music performances!), and access to company-sponsored badminton courts.
