About The RoleJoin us as Head of Finance at AIA Investment Management!We are seeking for a Head of Finance who will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and operations of AIA Investment Management (AIAIM). This role is critical in ensuring financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Reporting to AIAIM’s COO and working closely with AIAIM’s EXCO members, Director of Group CIO Office, and AIA Group Finance departments, the incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the AIA Asset Management Company (AMC) network, to help ensure that the AMC network’s financial performance is tracking well to targets.Responsibilities Lead Strategic Financial Planning Develop and oversee long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and priorities to support sustainable growth and profitability. Financial Analysis & Projects Perform financial analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Lead/contribute within the finance workstreams for strategic projects and initiatives. Budgeting and Forecasting Lead and execute the annual budgeting process, track progress and generate forecasts, recommend and execute strategies to meet/exceed financial plan. Finance Operations Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounting, reporting, expense management, contract management, sourcing, procurement, & payments. Oversight of AMC Network Review of monthly/quarterly financial reports. Providing guidance on expense management, adherence to IGF standards & AIA Group policies, and budget preparation. Risk Management and Compliance Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with MAS regulations and with finance governance and control such as finance related IGF policies, Group Finance policies, ICFR control etc. Team Leadership and Development Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional development. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with stakeholders including AIA Group Finance departments (Group Financial Solution, GCC Finance, Group Tax, Group Treasury, Group Integrated Reporting etc), Group Investment, Compliance & Risk, Legal and Governance, etc.RequirementsMinimum 15 years’ progressive experience in financial leadership roles in a regulated asset manager or equivalent. Insurance AMC experience a plus. Demonstrate the executive presence required to engage with and present to senior stakeholders, C-suite executives, and the Board of Directors.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or chartered/certified Accountant preferred) Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, Capital Markets industry, with knowledge in derivatives and private markets a plus.
