Job Description: Position SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Merchant Acquiring Specialist to spearhead the expansion of our merchant network across Southeast Asia. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by acquiring new business partners and championing our comprehensive suite of payment solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the payment ecosystem, excel in a dynamic sales environment, and be adept at building long-term, profitable relationships with merchants of all sizes.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development: Develop and execute a targeted acquisition strategy to identify, prospect, and secure new merchant partnerships within assigned territories or verticals. Build a robust pipeline to consistently exceed acquisition targets.Full-Cycle Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the entire merchant lifecycle, from initial engagement and negotiation through to onboarding and ongoing relationship management, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and retention.Solution-Based Selling & Negotiation: Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations that articulate the value proposition of our credit card and Alternative Payment Method (APM) processing services. Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements that align with company objectives and merchant needs.Market Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct ongoing market analysis to monitor competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and uncover new business opportunities. Leverage insights to refine sales strategies and provide feedback to the product development team.Seamless Merchant Onboarding: Partner with internal implementation and technical teams to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new merchants, including coordinating necessary training and support.Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Uphold the highest standards of integrity by ensuring all merchant applications and activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS). Proactively identify and assess potential risk factors.Qualifications & ExperienceA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.3-5 years of proven, quota-carrying experience in sales or business development, specifically within merchant acquiring, payment processing, or FinTech.Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving market share growth.
