Head of Finance and Procurement (Exco Level)Location: Colombo, Sri LankaEmployment Type: Full-time About the RoleWe are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Finance and Procurement (Exco Level) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our Sri Lankan entity. The ideal candidate will bring extensive international exposure, with a strong background in working with multinational corporations or overseas partners, and a proven ability to align financial leadership with global business objectives.This executive role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and foster operational excellence across finance and procurement functions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of financial strategies to support sustainable growth and profitability.Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board to support decision-making.Manage relationships with international stakeholders, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.Oversee procurement strategy, including global sourcing, vendor negotiations, and supplier management.Drive cost optimization and financial efficiency across the organization.Implement robust internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.Lead and develop high-performing finance and procurement teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational and strategic objectives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).Professional qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA (mandatory).15+ years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, preferably as CFO or equivalent.Demonstrated experience working with international companies or overseas operations.Proven expertise in procurement strategy, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Strong understanding of global financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance frameworks.Experience with ERP systems and digital finance tools.Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities.Key AttributesStrategic mindset with global business acumen.High integrity and commitment to ethical governance.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Results-oriented with a focus on financial discipline and operational excellence.What We OfferExecutive leadership opportunity in a dynamic, growth-focused organization.Exposure to international financial operations and strategic decision-making.Competitive compensation and long-term career development.Direct engagement with global leadership and stakeholders.
