Finance is central to the Council’s transformational agenda, and followinga review of the Senior Leadership Team, we are seeking two ambitiousprofessionals to join our dynamic team.As Assistant Director Finance, you will be a key member of our CorporateManagement Team, acting as the lead officer for strategic financial management within the Council with responsibility as the Deputy S151 Officer. You will report to the Executive Director Finance & Commercial, supporting in shaping and leading the delivery of financial operations across the Council.The Head of Finance oversees all finance functions, including the annualStatement of accounts, budgetary processes, financial reporting andmonitoring, procurement, risk, and treasury management.
