Head of Finance

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, looking for a Head of Finance for a leading company in the Logistics sector. This position will be based in Bangladesh.This role requires a proactive leader capable of translating numbers into actionable insights and driving financial discipline throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, reporting, and cash flow management. Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and the board. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. Implement strong financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks. Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure to support business growth. Partner with operational teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in senior finance roles, ideally within logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries. Proven track record in financial leadership, strategic planning, and business partnering. Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
