This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded, data-driven operator who can connect finance, operations, and strategy in a fast-scaling purpose led circular tech company.You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance function and helping us on our mission rehome 100 million devices. We need someone who can own the financial engine steering cash, margin, and performance while helping shape the decisions that define our future.This isn’t just about reporting numbers. You’ll sit at the heart of the business, working directly with the founders to model opportunities, challenge costs, and improve the model economics.You’ll oversee the financial rhythm of the business from supplier margins and pricing models to scenario planning and investment forecasting. We’ve outsourced the basics, so this role is about getting your hands dirty where it counts deep in the numbers, margins, and models that shape the business. You can move between detail and strategy equally comfortable in a model, a margin review or an investor management meeting.You know how to work across departments, understand supplier and channel economics, and can simplify complex data into actionable insight.You’ll be a key partner to the founders and wider leadership team, helping us steer toward profitable, sustainable growth and the role will come with equity as part of the package so you have skin in the game.You’ll likely have:4–7 years of finance experience, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth environmentStrong analytical and modelling skills (Excel, Xero, Airtable, or BI tools)Proven ability to drive margin improvement and build commercial frameworksACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent experienceA curious, hands-on approach with an ability to balance structure with scale up paceBonus PointsIndustry experience in areas such as recommerce, mobile phones, eCommerce, Circular economy, Logistics, and retail preferred.Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment (Seed - Series B).Commercial acumen, high proficiency in financial analysis & modelling.Your roleStrategic & Operational FinanceOwn the financial rhythm of the business — forecasting, cash management, and performance trackingBuild and maintain commercial models across suppliers, partners, and channelsSupport founders in strategic decisions, investment planning, and scenario modellingLead quarterly reforecasts and help shape the roadmap to profitabilityMargin & Commercial AnalysisPartner with Supply, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve supplier marginsAnalyse partner P&Ls (Fonehouse, Uswitch, etc.) and recommend optimisationsDevelop real-time dashboards for gross margin, cashflow, and performance metricsOwn pricing models and cost structures for trade-in and resale programmesFinancial ReportingDeliver monthly reporting packs with clear, actionable insights for leadership and investorsOversee outsourced bookkeeping and ensure accuracy in management accountsTranslate data into stories that inform business and investor decisionsCash & ControlManage cashflow, payment cycles, and supplier relationshipsBuild a 13-week rolling cashflow and support fundraising readinessEnsure cost discipline and spend visibility across departmentsWhat you’ll bringA founder’s mindset: ownership, urgency, and a willingness to roll up your sleevesConfidence working with ambiguity and simplifying complexityA collaborative, people-first approach — you’ll work closely with both finance and non-finance teamsCuriosity about tech, sustainability, and how circular models can drive impactThe offerSalary: starting from £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)Share options: meaningful equity in a fast-scaling B CorpHybrid working: 2 day/week at our HQ in Southwark30 days holiday per yearHealth, wellness, and L&D budgetCycle to work schemeMinistry workspace access — gym, classes, community events, and morePurpose-driven team with strong values, momentum, and heartWhy join usThree solid reasons to feel excited every morning:We’re leading the shift toward a circular economy in techWe’re turning waste into value — for customers, partners, and the planetWe’re building a global brand that makes sustainability mainstreamInterested?Cool.
