We provide a unique environment where you work alongside high preforming industry leaders, join a culture that embraces equality, inclusion and diversity and where continuous development and collaboration is at the forefront.This is a strategic FM leadership role responsible for enhancing lifecycle stewardship of critical airport infrastructure, embedding operational consistency across the FM function, and ensuring alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements. The Head of FM Planning & Asset Management will provide functional coordination and governance across all domain-specific FM units—Airfield Maintenance, Terminals & Landside, Special Systems, Landscaping, and Soft Services—ensuring proper planning, cross-functional integration, asset lifecycle oversight, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Asset Management Leadership:Design and implement a comprehensive Asset Management System in accordance with ISO 55001 and global best practices.Lead the development and implementation of a Strategic Asset Management Plan that aligns technical, operational, and financial objectives over short-, medium-, and long-term.Develop asset lifecycle strategies prioritizing risk-based maintenance, reliability centred planning, and long-term capital optimization.Facilities Management Planning and Coordination:Coordinate Facilities Management plans across all asset domains Airfield, Terminals, Special Systems, and Utilities to eliminate silos and improve resource allocation.Facilitate multi-disciplinary operational alignment, ensuring planned maintenance activities, seasonal readiness, and resilience planning are integrated.Through a dotted-line functional role, track each manager's delivery against Facilities Management goals, maintenance schedules, and operational KPIs escalating only when systemic issues require senior intervention.Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:Cascade GACA, ICAO, ISO 41001, and ISO 55001 standards into actionable processes across departments.Support internal audit readiness and external inspections by ensuring full documentation, traceability, and real-time reporting of Facilities Management compliance activities.Lead periodic reviews of asset condition, risk exposure, and mitigation planning across the asset portfolioSystem and Process Development:Develop and optimize CMMS integration, asset registers, asset tagging protocols, and automated workflows that reduce downtime and human error.Standardize reporting templates, failure codes, work order procedures, and maintenance routines across departments.Establish performance dashboards that provide the Chief of Engineering and senior executives with real time visibility into Facilities Management performance, resource utilization, and asset health metrics.Stakeholder and Contract Management Support:Support contract management by aligning Facilities Management service providers with airport wide Strategic Asset Management Plan objectives and service level requirements.Participate in technical evaluations, contractor onboarding, and monthly performance reviews, acting as an support to and extension of the Chief of Engineering.Identify gaps in service delivery, initiate root cause analysis, and recommend operational enhancements in line with Facilities Management contracts and GACA mandates.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or related field.Professional certification (e.g. IAM, ISO 55001 Lead Auditor, PMP) desirable.10+ years of progressive experience in Facilities Management, Asset Management or Infrastructure Planning within large-scale, complex environments (preferably in aviation or transportation).Strong track record in implementing and managing ISO 55001 Asset Management Systems.Strong knowledge of CMMS, CAFM, BIM, and enterprise asset management systems.Deep understanding of performance management frameworks, KPIs, and regulatory audit practicesExperience working with regulatory bodies such as GACA or equivalent aviation authorities.Proven leadership in coordinating cross-functional FM teams and integrating planning systemsWishing you all the best!
