We provide a secure, sovereign AI infrastructure and high-performance compute to help leading Swedish companies develop and deploy advanced AI with real business impact.The infrastructure will be powered by NVIDIA DGX SuperPODs featuring the latest Grace Blackwell GB300 systems, delivering world-class performance for both production workloads and research. As part of the initiative, NVIDIA will establish an AI technology and development center in Sweden, supporting capability building across the partner companies.Sferical AI is now building the core DevOps team that will develop and operate this platform. The DevOps team will be based in central Stockholm, while the AI hardware infrastructure is hosted in Linköping. The role is on-site, with room for hybrid flexibility.About the roleAs Head of Information and Operational Security at Sferical AI, you will design and lead the implementation of a comprehensive security strategy for a critical AI infrastructure serving multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, defense, telecom and finance. You will be responsible for physical security, cybersecurity and operational security across the full stack: from facilities and hardware to networks, data and workloads.This role is a good fit for someone who combines deep security expertise with a pragmatic, business-aware approach and who is motivated by building something long-term and foundational from the ground up.What you’ll doDevelop and execute a security policy and strategy covering physical, cyber and operational security for Sferical AI’s multi-tenant supercomputing infrastructure and related servicesEstablish and document integrated governance frameworks, policies and procedures covering both physical and digital assets, balancing robust protection with operational efficiencyLead holistic security architecture design for sovereign AI infrastructure, ensuring protection across human, physical, hardware, network, compute and storage layersDrive compliance programs for ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR and industry-specific requirementsDefine and maintain the security roadmap, anticipating emerging threats to both physical infrastructure and digital systemsEstablish and operate security metrics and KPIs, including incident response, threat detection, physical access control and overall security postureWho you areYou have a strong strategic mindset but are comfortable getting hands-on when neededYou can translate complex security concepts into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersYou’re used to working in environments where security, innovation and regulation must be balancedYou’re motivated by building a long-term capability rather than quick winsGiven the security clearance needed for this role, Swedish citizenship is requiredQualifications10+ years of experience in information security/cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in technology or infrastructure-intensive environmentsStrong understanding of cloud security, data protection and relevant regulatory frameworksProven ability to design pragmatic solutions that balance innovation, business goals and compliance requirementsExcellent communication skills in both English and Swedish, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiencesRelevant certifications (preferred)CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)GSEC, GCIH or other GIAC certificationsWhat we offerThe opportunity to help shape Sweden’s industrial AI capability from the ground upA strong professional network across some of Sweden’s leading companies and global tech leader NVIDIAA highly skilled and motivated team that values diversity and collaboration across disciplines and backgroundsHands-on work with world-leading AI infrastructure and applicationsCompetitive salary and benefitsIf this sounds like a role where you would thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
