Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic global legal organization of a leading global fast fashion E-Commerce group. As an in-house legal counsel, your role will be to facilitate the Company’s local business in the North Asia & Middle East of Asia and international growth by working with new and existing business and legal teams around the world.The ideal candidate should be hands-on, team-oriented, solution-focused and a quick learner. You’ll work across the broad range of commercial, corporate, IP, litigation and HR disciplines required in our fast-growing global business. ResponsibilitiesProvide full scale of legal and regulatory advice to the Company with regard to its regional business and operations;Identify policy and compliance risks, proactively provide risk alerts and solutions;Partner and work with other SHEIN lawyers and business colleagues regionally and globally to drive alignment and share best practices;Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, license, sourcing and other agreements, as well as related transactional matters;Monitor regional legislation development, and provide business compliance guidelines and relevant update;Oversee significant litigations and disputes in relevant jurisdictions;Provide legal and compliance training;Be proactive in the provision of legal consultancy services and guidance to regional business developments with regards to a broad range of products, services and issues;Manage corporate secretarial requirements, communicate with authorities and maintain necessary fillings; andManage legal budget and external legal counsel.Manage a cross-boarder legal & compliance teamKey QualificationsPost qualification experience needs to be 15-20 years. Prior experience in both law firm and in-house legal team would be an advantage;LLB or above from an accredited law school;Highly self-motivated, good interpersonal skills;Ability to counsel senior management on complex legal matters; able to reduce message to material issues without over-simplifying or having material omission.Excellent knowledge and experience of regulatory and compliance requirements relating to E-commerce or digital business in the North Asia & Middle East of Asia, including but not limited to marketing, labeling and intellectual property, corporate transactional experience;Ability to work across different jurisdictions, different cultures and multi-skilled teams; Set an example and ensure high ethical, legal and compliance standards; Ability to endure working pressure, juggle competing demands on time and attention and meeting challenging timelines; Fluent in both oral & written English & Chinese. Japanese or Korean is a plus.
