With a strong alumni base and deep industry connect, NxtWave Academy is expanding into new programs and audiences — and we’re looking for a marketing leader to drive this next phase of growth.Role OverviewAs Head of Marketing – Academy, you’ll own the full marketing charter for NxtWave’s flagship Academy vertical. You’ll build and scale a multi-channel growth engine spanning brand, digital, performance, and partnerships to drive demand, engagement, and retention across the funnel.You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, and Leadership to shape positioning, GTM strategy, and campaigns that make NxtWave the go-to brand for aspirational learners across India.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Positioning: Develop a differentiated brand narrative and creative strategy for NxtWave Academy, tailored to students and working professionals.Growth Leadership: Design and execute the full-funnel growth strategy — awareness, acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.Performance Marketing: Lead data-driven paid media campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube, OTT, influencers) with clear CAC and ROI accountability.Content & Storytelling: Build an ecosystem of high-performing content (social, video, community, thought leadership) to amplify brand love.Product GTM: Partner with Product and Sales to launch new programs, cohorts, and categories with sharp GTM playbooks.Team & Agency Management: Build and lead a cross-functional team of marketers, agencies, and creators across digital, brand, and analytics.Marketing Analytics: Define key metrics, build dashboards, and drive decisions using data-backed insights.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Founders, Product, and Business teams to align marketing with strategic growth priorities.Ideal Profile7–10 years of experience leading marketing or growth for consumer-first, high-growth products (e.g., edtech, fintech, consumer internet, or D2C).Proven track record of driving 10x user and revenue growth through digital and brand marketing.Deep understanding of Indian consumer behavior, regional segmentation, and tier-2/3 market dynamics.Strong grasp of performance channels, creative storytelling, and conversion optimization.Hands-on with analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Looker, etc.) and growth experimentation.Experience in building and mentoring marketing teams and scaling budgets efficiently.Passion for education, learning, and creating impact at scale.Why NxtWaveBe part of a fast-growing, mission-driven company shaping India’s next-gen workforce.Opportunity to lead end-to-end marketing for a key business vertical with direct visibility to founders.High ownership, fast experimentation culture, and the chance to define one of India’s most aspirational learning brands.
