Job Description
We are seeking a Head of Medical Affairs (Report to Medical Director) to provide overall management and development of the Medical Affairs Strategy and Execution. This role supports product life cycle management for our product portfolio.This role will be responsible for leading and executing the country medical affairs plan in alignment with regional, global, and commercial strategies.Responsibilities:Develop the Country Medical Affairs Strategy PlanLead, develop, and manage the Medical Affairs TeamProvide medical insights to shape product and brand strategies and future developmentDrive and shape scientific communication, and lead data/evidence generation and clinical research initiatives in the focus medical areaBuild and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and local medical associations or academic institutesDevelop product innovations and new clinical usage through local clinical projects, IITs/clinical researchLead and plan scientific expert forums and advisory boardsEnsure medical governance and compliance with local regulations, company SOPs, and ethical standardsSupport medical review of promotional and non-promotional materialsWork collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to develop novel strategies for product sustainability and future approachesServe as a key medical expert head across country business unitsActively develop and provide training and medical support for internal and external stakeholdersRequirements:Advanced degree in health sciences with solid relevant clinical experience desiredMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Medical Affairs management positions in Rx, OTC, or Med. Dev. MarketsExperience in direct report/people management in areas of MA/RA/Clinical R&DSolid knowledge and understanding of complex medical and scientific subject mattersStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly in stakeholder interactions and professional relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFluent in Thai and EnglishWillingness to travel overseas for work (30%)We will contact only shortlisted candidates.
