Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily payment operations, including settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, and fraud control.Oversee POS operations (deployment, configuration, inventory, and maintenance).Supervise merchant onboarding and documentation processes, ensuring compliance with CDD and underwriting standards.Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Technology, Acquiring, Compliance) to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.Ensure adherence to CBE regulations and internal governance policies.Support the launch and testing of acquiring products and system enhancements.Identify operational risks and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.Lead and coach a team of operations officers to ensure high performance and accuracy.Act as a liaison between Egypt operations and Group teams to maintain alignment on processes and SLAs.Ensure all activities comply with data security, AML/CFT, and scheme regulations (Visa/Mastercard).RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.7+ years of experience in acquiring, POS, or card operations within the payments or banking industry.Strong understanding of settlement, reconciliation, and merchant acquiring processes.Familiarity with CBE guidelines and regulatory reporting.Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.Fluency in English and Arabic.
