This enables researchers, patients, and communities to fund and govern biotech projects in new, open ways.BIO.xyz is the coordination and economic layer of DeSci, powering BioDAOs through funding, governance, and ecosystem alignment.Together, we are creating a new model for scientific discovery — one where breakthroughs are owned and advanced by the communities that believe in them.We’re seeking a Head of Operations to oversee Molecule’s European operations and drive scalability across finance, compliance, and supply chain execution. This role is pivotal to ensuring Molecule operates efficiently and compliantly as we expand internationally.The ideal candidate combines strong operational and financial management with hands-on experience scaling a supplements, e-commerce, or supply chain-driven business, bringing proven commercial best practices to Molecule’s growth journey.Key ResponsibilitiesEuropean Operations ManagementOversee Molecule’s European operations, including contracts, payroll, logistics, and financial transactions. Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met. Coordinate with external legal, compliance, and tax advisors to maintain cross-border regulatory alignment. Finance & CompliancePartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and compliance with European accounting standards. Support fundraising operations, investor reporting, and audit readiness. Commercial & Supply Chain ScalingLeverage experience scaling supplements, e-commerce, or high-volume supply chain businesses. Implement best practices in inventory, fulfilment, logistics, and transaction management. Develop operational KPIs to measure and improve performance across commercial activities. Operational ExcellenceDesign and implement scalable systems and processes across finance, logistics, and administration. Drive cross-team project execution, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are consistently met. Introduce tools and workflows that enhance efficiency in a remote-first environment. Cross-Functional LeadershipTranslate strategic goals from the CEO and leadership team into actionable operational plans. Collaborate closely with product, science, and community teams to ensure they have the operational support needed to deliver on key initiatives. Track and report on progress against OKRs and strategic milestones. About You5+ years’ experience in operations, finance, or business management roles (start-up or scale-up background strongly preferred). Proven track record scaling e-commerce, supplements, or supply chain-heavy businesses. Strong knowledge of European cross-border operations (contracts, compliance, payroll, logistics, financial transactions). Skilled in process optimisation, financial oversight, and project management. Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable building structure in high-growth environments. Excellent communicator and organiser, with experience managing distributed teams.
