Our Bhiwandi operations hub is the heart of our manufacturing, sourcing, and fulfillment capabilities, servicing hundreds of enterprise programs every month.Your RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Head – Operations to lead our plant and operations as we scale. This role will drive operational excellence, procurement, vendor partnerships, quality assurance, and efficient supply chain execution across print and merchandise operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations Leadership: Oversee end-to-end operations across print, merchandise, kitting, packing and dispatch; ensure production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery; increase throughput and turnaround to ensure faster dispatches; implement packaging and unboxing best practices; implement robust logistics process for NDRs, RTOs and documentation for export shipments; establish SOPs to improve quality, speed, and productivity.Supply Chain & Procurement: Lead procurement, vendor management, logistics, and inventory planning; inventory optimisation and develop vendor scorecards.Quality & Compliance: Build and manage a robust Quality Management System (QMS) for print, packaging, and merchandise; drive continuous improvement in defect rates and customer satisfaction; timely resolution of customer complaints; ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, ESG, and regulatory norms.Process & Technology Implementation: Drive ERP and digital tool adoption; set clear KPIs and dashboards; promote collaboration across procurement, estimation, and operations teams to streamline workflows.People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams; build a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement; create backups, succession and talent pipelines for critical roles.Customer-Centric Execution: Work closely with Sales and Estimation / Sourcing teams to align operations with customer budgets and timelines; oversee sampling, customization techniques, and final execution; anticipate and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively. Experience And Qualifications -Experience: 15–20 years in manufacturing, printing, packaging, branded merchandise, or other high-volume operations, with proven leadership of plant operations or large supply chain networks. Exposure: Strong background in procurement and operations, ideally in a low-inventory, high-order-volume, large-SKU, high-customization environment. Track Record: Demonstrated ability to scale operations, build robust systems, and drive transformation. Education: B.E./B.Tech or MBA preferred; formal training in Supply Chain Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or Quality desirable. Execution Mindset: Process-driven with a strong bias for execution and operational excellence. Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance cost, quality, and speed while ensuring customer delight. Leadership Style: Collaborative, customer-centric, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at building systems from scratch.
