If you’re up for the challenge then World Snooker is looking for a talented and energetic person to become a leader within our growing commercial team, during this exciting phase of transformation and growth for the sport. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Partnership Sales based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the opportunity for some remote work. The Head of Partnership Sales will primarily be responsible for driving revenue by identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic sponsorships that align brand partners with the WST’s assets and audience.About WSTWorld Snooker Limited is the commercial entity responsible for the commercial exploitation and promotion of professional snooker events and is the custodian of the sport’s commercial rights.Under the leadership of Chairman Steve Dawson, CEO Simon Brownell, CCO Peter Wright and CMO Tom Rowell, the World Snooker Tour is going through an exciting period of innovation and strategic growth. Our goal is to build an industry-leading Partnership programme that will spearhead the next 5 years’ growth.We are on a journey to grow over the next decade and therefore we aspire to be innovative, curious and relentless in our drive for improvement. What You Will Be DoingAs Head of Partnership Sales, you’ll lead the growth and expansion of the organisation’s global partnership portfolio driving new commercial revenues and shaping a forward-thinking sales strategy aligned with WST’s ambitious global vision.The single guiding purpose of this role is to identify and execute revenue generating opportunities.You’ll play a key role in developing a best-in-class partnership sales model, creating innovative, high-value propositions for international brands, and helping to position WST as a world-class commercial partner.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a global partnership sales strategy to attract and secure new high value, multi-year global partnershipsCoordinate with internal teams to support and execute the end-to-end sales processNegotiate and close integrated brand partnerships combining IP association, co-marketing activations, branded content and media exposureLead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets and support career progression.Help develop and execute partnership sales go-to-market strategy, with an emphasis on new categories, new assets and rights developmentExecute the data-driven sales process including category and rights assessment, proprietary lead development, pipeline management, profitability analyses and robust contracting; all underpinned by a sophisticated sales CRM database and reporting system. What We’re Looking ForExperienceProven track record of securing high-value partnership deals across multiple brand sectors, both nationally and internationally.Experienced in managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract negotiation and seamless handover to the partnerships team.Experience leading a team, and working with 3rd party agencies.KnowledgeProven track record of securing high-value partnership deals across multiple brand sectors, both nationally and internationally.Experienced in managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract negotiation and seamless handover to the partnerships team.Experience leading a team, and working with 3rd party agenciesSkills and AptitudeAn entrepreneurial and proactive approach by thinking ahead and generating innovative ideas and revenue-driving concepts.
