If that’s you, read on!The RoleAs Head of Platform Operations, you'll be front and center in the data generation engine of the company. You'll be in charge of building a high-throughput, commercial-grade and automated operation, scaling workflows to handle thousands of patient samples from all over the world. You will spend your time between operational leadership, systems, and strategy and will be hands-on across all systems, ensuring you stay connected to the science. You will:Design & Implement Operational SystemsEstablish and optimize LIMS/ELN tools, intelligent project tracking, and AI-driven resource planning for seamless workflows.Keep a firm handle on equipment, reagents, and staffing needs, forecasting capacity to meet dynamic demands.Develop robust processes that ensure everything is always “stocked,” shifting from reactive to proactive operations managementExplore advanced AI-driven solutions to platform challenges, including significant robotic automation   Elevate Quality & ThroughputOversee our transition from an academic-style setup to an industry-grade, high-throughput platform.Define and maintain QC standards that align with commercial best practices, ensuring reliability and reproducibility of data.Partner with scientific, computational, and business teams to deliver on project milestones—removing bottlenecks wherever they arise.Hands-On Platform EngagementSpend ~30% of your time learning and refining our wet lab and computational platform, which includes high-resolution imaging and computational pathology, laser capture micro-dissection, and mass spectrometry.Troubleshoot technical challenges directly, mentor lab associates, and stay close to ongoing experiments to continuously improve our workflows. You are:Operationally excellent: you have at least 5 years of experience in biotech, genomics, proteomics, or another high-throughput wet-lab and computational environmentA Systems Thinker: You excel at breaking down complex workflows into manageable steps, optimizing for efficiency, quality, and repeatability.Automation and Technology Forward: You understand how to leverage modern software, robotics, automation and AI to streamline processes and keep teams in sync.Problem-Solver with High Energy: You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are excited to tackle any challenge that pops up.Scientifically Curious: You appreciate the science behind the work—even if you aren’t an expert in proteomics, you’re keen to learn and contribute. Interested?
