Backed by top-tier investors and led by industry-leading clinical and engineering innovators, the company is now building out a world-class organization to bring its next-generation system to market.Position OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished Head of Program Management (PMO) to build, lead, and scale the company’s program management function across R&D, operations, regulatory, marketing, and corporate expansion initiatives. This is a high-impact, executive-facing role directly reporting to the CEO and responsible for driving alignment, execution, and delivery across all mission-critical programs.The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, excels at orchestrating complex cross-functional efforts, and brings a strong background from medical devices, robotics, or other highly regulated, technology-forward industries.This is a remote role open across the United States with periodic travel as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Program Management Office, establishing frameworks, tools, and processes that scale with company growth.Own execution of strategic, company-wide programs spanning R&D, product development, regulatory submissions, clinical planning, manufacturing readiness, commercialization, and operations.Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to define priorities, resource plans, and milestones for short- and long-term organizational goals.Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, clinical, quality, operations, marketing, and finance.Oversee planning and delivery for new technology development, platform roadmap execution, and integration of emerging capabilities into the robotic system.Establish and track KPIs, program dashboards, OKRs, and reporting mechanisms to improve transparency, predictability, and accountability.Build and mentor a high-performing team of program and project managers as the organization scales.Support capital strategy, investor reporting, and board communications related to program timelines and deliverables.Ensure company-wide operational excellence, risk identification, and proactive mitigation across all programs.Lead cross-functional readiness for clinical studies, regulatory milestones (510(k)/PMA), manufacturing transitions, product launch, and global company expansion.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related technical field; advanced degree strongly preferred.10+ years of program management experience, including leadership of PMO or enterprise-level programs.Proven experience in medical devices, robotics, interventional technologies, or other highly regulated industries.Demonstrated success managing large, complex, cross-functional product development programs.Expertise in program frameworks (Agile, phase-gate, hybrid systems) for hardware-software integrated products.Strong business acumen with the ability to partner directly with executive leadership and external stakeholders.Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience bringing capital equipment or surgical/robotic systems through the full product lifecycle.Background in oncology, interventional procedures, or image-guided therapies.Experience building PMO organizations from early-stage through scaling.PMP, PgMP, or comparable certification.
