Head of Product Development

Role Description We are seeking a Head of Product Development for a part-time based hybrid role located in Crawley, with flexibility for remote work. The Head of Product Development at MITA is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and lifecycle management of qualifications, ensuring these meet regulatory standards and align with MITA's strategic objectives. This role requires strategic planning, innovative thinking, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure MITA’s qualifications are accessible, valuable, and compliant with all relevant regulations. Additionally, the Head of Product Development will drive forward initiatives that identify and respond to new market opportunities, while managing risks, appeals, and quality assurance to maintain MITA’s high standards. QualificationsBachelor degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or Product Management is desirableRelevant qualifications in project management or quality assurance is desirable ExperienceStrong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Demonstrated experience in regulatroy compliance, risk management and wuality assurance processes in qualification developmentProven Team Management abilities to lead and motivate cross-functional teams effectively including managing complex projects and liasing with third party providers.Understanding of Sales processes to align product strategies with business goals.Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies is beneficial.Experience with technology platforms or a background in the automotive industry is a plus.
