About the Company: Looking to hire Head of Quality for a leading real estate developer in Mumbai.About the Role: To lead the Quality function across all real estate multicity projects ensuring excellence in construction quality, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement in processes and execution. The role requires strategic oversight, leadership in driving quality culture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects of the highest standards.Responsibilities:Strategic Quality Leadership:Define and implement the organization’s overall Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives.Establish, monitor, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) across all projects.Set key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are met consistently.Governance & Policy Framework:Develop and institutionalize quality policies, procedures, and best practices for all project stages—design, procurement, construction, and handover.Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including IS codes, NBC, and local construction norms.Drive ISO and other relevant certifications to strengthen organizational credibility.Project Quality Oversight:Provide strategic direction and quality oversight for all ongoing and upcoming projects.Review and approve quality plans, material specifications, and inspection methodologies.Conduct high-level audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality benchmarks.Team Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor the organization’s quality assurance team across multiple project sites.Build capabilities through training, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Promote a strong quality culture across engineering, design, and execution teams.Vendor & Stakeholder Management:Evaluate and approve contractors, consultants, and vendors from a quality standpoint.Collaborate with project heads, architects, and consultants to proactively address quality risks.Ensure transparent communication and timely escalation of critical quality issues to management.Continuous Improvement & Innovation:Benchmark quality practices against industry leaders and implement improvement programs.Introduce modern quality management tools, digital inspection systems, and real-time dashboards.Lead root cause analysis and preventive action planning for recurring quality issues.Handover & Client Satisfaction:Oversee final inspection and certification before project handover.Ensure defect-free delivery and client satisfaction with regard to quality parameters.Qualifications: Key Competencies:Strategic thinking and decision-making ability.Strong leadership and people management skills.Deep technical knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and standards.Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to drive process improvement and change management.Pay range and compensation package: As per the market standards
