Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Central Reservations, located in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Rooms Reservations Department, managing reservation systems, and coordinating with various departments of Rove Hotels Group to ensure optimal room occupancy and revenue targets are met. Responsibilities include leading and training the reservations team, developing and implementing reservation strategies, monitoring performance metrics, handling guest inquiries, and optimizing reservation channels.Minimum Qualifications·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.· Certifications preferred – Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME), Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager (CHRM) and such.·  Affiliations and Associations with relevant industry organizations.Typical Experience· 5 – 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in roles related to reservations management, revenue management, or front office operations.· Strong knowledge and proficiency in working with various reservation management systems and technology platforms are essential. Experience with popular hotel property management systems (PMS) and central reservation systems (CRS) is often required. Familiarity with revenue management tools and software is also beneficial.· Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team of reservations professionals, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining high service standards.· Proficient experience in optimizing room rates, managing inventory, and utilizing revenue management techniques to maximize revenue and profitability.· Strong analytical skills to analyze reservation data, market trends, and performance metrics and draw insights from data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.· Experience in providing exceptional customer service and handling guest inquiries and complaints related to reservations with the ability to resolve issues promptly and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.· Familiarity with the local market dynamics, customer preferences, and industry trends to develop effective reservation strategies and drive business growth.Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills·  In-depth knowledge of reservation processes, procedures, and best practices within the hotel industry.· Proficiency in working with reservation management systems, hotel property management systems (PMS), and central reservation systems (CRS).· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team Rovesters, Rovers, and stakeholders.· Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate the Reservations Rovesters, delegate tasks, and drive performance.· A guest-centric approach with the ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.·  Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reservation records, rates, and guest information.· Ability to negotiate and manage contracts with travel agencies, online travel agents (OTAs), and other partners.· Proactive problem-solving skills to address reservation-related issues, handle conflicts, and find effective solutions.· Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing changing priorities and guest demands.· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple reservations and tasks simultaneously.· Proficiency in using various software applications, including reservation systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and analytical tools.
