Head of Trading Operations

TUKR is a rapidly expanding renewable commodities trader with a hyper-focus on direct origination of bio-feedstock material, primarily Used Cooking Oil (UCO) for biofuel production. We develop complex supply chains within challenging locations to source UCO as a sustainable and renewable material for biofuel. We bulk, store, blend and deliver volumes of UCO to our end clients with attentive care to quality and sustainability compliance.We're Hiring: Head of Trading OperationsResponsibilities:Oversee daily trading operations, ensuring timely execution, accurate processing, and smooth settlement of transactionsManage shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations) and ensure compliance with trade requirementsHandle bulk shipments and manage cargo/vessel operationsEnsure contractual obligations are fulfilled for liquid bulk and containerized commoditiesCoordinate with counterparts on vessel nominations, agents, and surveyorsDemonstrate strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC) negotiationPrepare and review laytime calculations for POL, resolving disputes/issues when necessaryLead and supervise operational teams, including training, performance monitoring, and mentoring to enhance team efficiencyFoster a collaborative and positive work culture, ensuring operational support and coverage across the teamGuide and support Back Office teams in contract reviews and risk assessmentsProactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial/trade risksEnsure compliance with internal policies and escalate issues when necessaryCollaborate with stakeholders to implement practical and effective solutionsQualifications :Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldMinimum 6 years of experience in trade operations in commodity tradingHas at least 3 years of Manager/Head experienceStrong background in logistics coordination, risk management, and regulatory complianceProficient in trade execution, contract management, and export documentationPlacement: Head Office, SCBD
