Headless React.js Developer (Mid-Level)

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Headless React.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate willhave expertise in modern React practices including Hooks, state management, and UI/UXimplementation. You’ll work on building high-performance front-end applications integrated withheadless CMS platforms such as WordPress via REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring exceptionaluser experience, SEO optimization, and code quality.Key Responsibilities• Develop and maintain headless front-end applications using React.js and modernJavaScript (ES6+).• Integrate front-end components with CMS backends (e.g., WordPress) through REST andGraphQL APIs.• Implement and optimize React Hooks and state management (Redux / Zustand / ContextAPI) for efficient app performance.• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs from Figma or Adobe XD intoresponsive, pixel-perfect front-end experiences.• Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code following best practices and codingstandards.• Apply code splitting and performance optimization techniques to ensure faster load timesand better performance.• Ensure SEO best practices, accessibility, and consistent web performance acrossbrowsers and devices.• Conduct code reviews, maintain version control, and uphold code quality andmaintainability.• Work closely with backend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment andintegration workflows.Required Skills & Qualifications• Hands-on experience with React.js (Next.js experience is a plus).• Strong understanding of React Hooks, state management, and component-drivenarchitecture.• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs with front-end applications.• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).• Experience working with UI/UX design tools (Figma, XD) and implementing responsive,cross-browser compatible layouts.• Familiarity with SEO principles, structured data, and web performance optimizationtechniques.• Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.• Strong focus on code quality, optimization, and debugging.• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR).• Knowledge of headless CMS platforms such as WordPress (WPGraphQL).• Familiarity with TypeScript and component libraries such as Material UI, Tailwind, orShadcn UI.• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and web performance testing tools (Lighthouse,GTmetrix, etc.).What We Offer• Opportunity to work on cutting-edge headless architectures.• Collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.• Remote flexibility and continuous learning opportunities.• Competitive compensation aligned with experience.
