Ayrton Group are seeking Health & Safety Advisors to join us on an ongoing project with a large utilities provider across the East and South-East regions. This role is advertised for Kilkenny, but our client has multiple office locations across the region so will consider applicants based within a commutable distance of any office location.This role involves site visits to locations across the region weekly along with working from the client office, with some flexibility to work from home.This is a 6 month contract role with the potential for extension.Key Responsibilities:Conduct site visits weekly to a variety of workplaces across your specified region.Documentation Management, including version control, change management and controlled distribution.Review existing processes around communication of risk.Develop and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.Assist in the collation and preparation of monthly reports and KPIs.Provide reports on output and with relevant information for reporting up the line.Provide support in the delivery of other related HSQE projects.Provide support and advice to internal stakeholders in the preparation of risk assessments.Set high standards, by encouraging others to embed a HSQE culture.Perform other duties as required from time to time.Key Requirements:Relevant third level qualification – minimum Diploma in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work.Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.Previous experience on Utilities projects is preferred.Varied experience in other sectors such as Construction would be beneficial.Strong IT experience essential, particularly the use of Sharepoint and Microsoft packages, in particular Excel and Visio.Previous experience in report writing and collation of information for KPI’s, safety metrics, presentations etc.Previous experience in working with all elements of a Safety Management System and knowledge of Integrated Management Systems, ISO 18001/45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, and manage resources while remaining focused on main goals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.Full driver's license and vehicle.
