Health And Safety Officer

I’m currently seeking a Health & Safety graduate to kickstart their professional journey with one of Europe’s largest food manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to grow quickly and play a key role in the company’s ongoing expansion.The Role:Assist in preparing health and safety strategies and improvement plans.Support the completion of risk assessments, help identify ways to reduce risk, and contribute to reports with recommendations.Carry out site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being followed effectively.Record findings from inspections or incidents and compile relevant data for management.Participate in training sessions with site management and staff on health and safety topics.Help oversee and monitor third-party activities to ensure safe working practices.What We’re Looking For:A positive, proactive attitude.Confidence, drive and resilience to see tasks through.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate ideas.High attention to detail and willingness to learn.Excellent communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.Education & Experience:Ideally 2 years’ relevant experience within a food manufacturing environment.Third-level qualification.Experience working in a dynamic business is an advantage.Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
