Health And Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Safety Advisor in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the safe and successful delivery of our civil engineering projects, starting from the bid preparation through to project planning and execution.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of health and safety documentation for technical bids and tenders.Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential health and safety risks and develop mitigation strategies.Contribute to the development of technical bid documents, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.Conduct risk assessments and prepare safety plans for upcoming projects.Monitor health and safety performance across projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Keep up to date with current Irish health and safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices.Attend site visits and project meetings to gain a thorough understanding of on-site requirements and potential safety concerns.Key Requirements:A degree or diploma in Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Previous experience (or relevant internship) in a health and safety role within the construction or civil engineering sector.Solid understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Highly organised and detail-oriented.A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Whats On Offer:Competitive salary Ongoing training and development opportunities.Exposure to diverse and high-profile civil engineering projects.A supportive and inclusive working environment.
