We deliver integrated clinical and psychosocial substance misuse services across Surrey Prisons, working in close partnership with NHS healthcare providers. Our trauma:informed, gender:responsive approach ensures every service user gets the support they need on their recovery journey.About The RoleAs a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner, youll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering recovery:orientated services to women aged 18+. Working on:site at HMP Downview, Sutton, your role will involve: Managing a caseload with a person:centred approach Conducting assessments and co:producing care plans Delivering structured 1:1 sessions and facilitating group work Providing harm reduction advice and support Performing second signatory duties Supporting release planning and community reintegration Accurately recording data and outcomes to measure successRequirements Experience or interest in working with individuals affected by substance misuse or low:level mental health needs Strong commitment to trauma:informed and gender:responsive practices Ability to work collaboratively across prison, healthcare, and mental health teams Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis Commitment to completing the Drug and Alcohol Workforce Development Programme (DAWFDP) within 12 monthsBe part of a service thats changing lives and supporting positive futures.Please note Surrey Health and Wellbeing Practitioners are now working 37.5 hours as a 12:month New Era pilot scheme.
