Involves meeting diverse stakeholder expectations and coordinating cross-functional project team activities. Consult with managers or other technical experts in specific public health areas to obtain clarification of expected results. Review project scope to identify required training and resources. Identify project objectives and deliverables and document progress through proper channels. Select and use appropriate evaluation techniques to monitor project goals and objectives. Coordinate with stakeholders and department personnel during every phase of the project. Develop and implement plans to communicate with involved project stakeholders and the community.Coordinate activities of project teams with participating City departments, health divisions, consultants, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors in the implementation and deployment of public health projects. Recruit and train volunteers, contract employees, and staff; monitor the progress of work assignments; and follow all personnel rules and regulations. Create and administer surveys and questionnaires ensuring language and reading levels are appropriate. Report on project progress monthly and prepare formal reports as needed. Document changes and updates to deliverables and budgets. Track budget expenditures and prepare project budget reports. Identify partners to ensure a community-wide approach to improve health in the region. Market health programs throughout the community using free and paid media. Ensure sustainable community health improvements through the creation of systemic policy change.Maintain clear communication with project team members, stakeholders and the community. Coordinate project team meetings. Prepare public health project status reports. Perform miscellaneous related duties as required.
