Are you ready to make a difference?About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment (WHSE) Coordinator to join our team at Greystanes, focusing on our converting and warehousing operations. The successful candidate will assist in the implementation and maintenance of WHSE standards, ensuring legal compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislative requirements.A day in the life… Workplace Health, Safety & Environment CoordinatorAs a WHSE Coordinator, you will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at achieving regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in workplace safety and environment. Your duties will include:Organizing and conducting training programs on: First AidLockout/TagoutFire WatchForklift LicensingWardensHigh-Risk PermitsUndertaking risk assessments and amending WHSE documentation.Conducting site inspections and audits.Managing internal and external audits, ensuring high-risk projects are completed safely, even during abnormal hours.Supporting site compliance with ISO 45001 and SEDEX audit results.Coordinating compliance training and maintaining documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs).Supporting contractor management, including inductions and Job Safety Assessments (JSAs).Investigating hazards and incidents, with a focus on prevention.What will make you successful Education: Certificate IV in OHS or higher. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an HSE role within a manufacturing and logistics environment. Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 45001 and OHS auditing desirable; sound understanding of NSW WHS legislative requirements and basic knowledge of WorkCover and Return to Work processes.
