Join us and you'll be part of a passionate team which always goes the extra mile.Eurostar is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead safety excellence at our Engineering Centre in Temple Mills. This pivotal role oversees occupational, fire, and environmental safety, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with ISO45001 and ECM regulations. You'll advise senior leaders on complex safety matters, manage strategic safety projects, and represent Eurostar in regulatory and industry forums.We're looking for a safety leader with strong experience in industrial or rail environments, deep knowledge of ISO standards, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. If you're passionate about building a proactive safety culture and thrive in a highly regulated, fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you.The close date for this role is Sunday, 16 November 2025Internal reference only: This is a Grade F, Travel Services 3, based at TMIRequirementsSubstantial experience in health, safety, and environment management, ideally in rail, engineering, transport, or another high-risk industrial environmentRecognised qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Level 6 Diploma, or NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards, audits, and certificationsExperience of ECM certificationStrong understanding of UK and continental fire safety regulations, with experience leading compliance programmes and fire drillsSignificant experience of Rolling Stock maintenance in a depotConfidence in risk assessment, incident investigation, data analysis, and regulatory reportingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence managers, staff, auditors, and external bodiesFluent English with excellent communication and presentation skills as well as basic French A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused mindset, able to balance compliance with operational demandsBenefitsWe're constantly working to create a bright future for our company and our colleagues.
