What We Are Looking ForAs an experienced specialist in health and safety, you will play an active role in shaping the safety culture in a technologically demanding environment. You will ensure that the highest safety standards are maintained and continuously improved.Establishing the occupational safety department, e.g. developing OHS policies, programmes and preventive/corrective plans to ensure meets applicale legal requirement and zero harm goalDefinition and implementation of the OHS management system: OHS policy, manual, procedures, instructions, etc. obtaining and maintaining ISO 45.001 certificationEnsure the organization has an accurate/appropriate system/tool to identify and ensure legal compliance on health and safety matters (industrial safety and management safety)Carrying out the risk assessment of the organization sites as well as the jobs performed for Rheinmetall employees or on behalf of RheinmetallDefining and coordinating with HR safey training plans as well as organizing and leading training courses, campaigns and workshopsCarrying out audits and safety inspections to identify and minimize risks, task observations and safety dialogues in order to redirect unsafe behaviors and cultural failuresParticipate in all LTI & PSIF investigations, providing proper training to middle management on RCA tools for safety standards deviationsManagement and participation in safety-related projects, particularly in the areas of fire protection, PSM, renovation projects and digitalizationSupport management on safety PDCA follow up, reporting periodically main leading and lagging KPISPrepare and present monthly and yearly management reviewsWhat Qualifications You Should HaveTechnical Bachelor’s degreeSuccessfully completed training with a focus on occupational safety, health and safety (minimum 600 hours)5 to 10 years of professional experience in occupational safety, ideally in a technologically demanding environment (chemical, oil and/or metallurgy industry)3 to 5 years on managerial positionsIn-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards as well as PSM principlesGood knowledge of ISO 45001, Experience as a lead auditor preferredExperience with digital tools for safety monitoring and documentation is an advantageAbility to communicate complex issues in a clear manner and raise awareness of safety issues among different stakeholdersVery good written and spoken EnglishWhat We Offer YouIn Lithuania we offer you:FlexibilityJob securityCareer opportunities3100-3600€ monthly grosstravel allowanceBonus eligibilityPrivate health insuranceWork-Life-BalanceMobile workingPositive work atmosphereInternational environmentCONTACT INFORMATIONContact person: Vanessa TapkenFor questions regarding your application, please use the contact form.
