We are excited to continue to grow our mission family!Benefits offered: Medical, Dental & VisionVacation, Sick & Holiday Paid Time OffMileage ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending & Health Savings AccountsDisability, Life and AD&D Insurance401(K)Pay range (depending on experience): $22.00 to $28.00/hourSchedule/Shift: Full-Time, Monday-FridayTerritory/Location: San Diego, CAKey Responsibilities:Oversee all collections activities for assigned payors, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursementCollaborate cross-functionally with Mission Healthcare departments to identify and resolve issues impacting billing and collections performanceStay current with industry regulations, payer guidelines, and reimbursement trends relevant to assigned payor mixMaintain proactive and consistent communication with the Reimbursement Manager to align on priorities and escalate concernsRespond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, resolving billing-related questions and concerns effectivelyDeliver courteous and solution-oriented customer service to both internal teams and external stakeholdersAchieve departmental performance targets, including productivity metrics and quality standardsQualifications:One to three years' experience in Healthcare BillingIndustry standard knowledge of private insurance reimbursement standards in the Healthcare sector is necessary. Experience collecting for Home Health agenciesExperience using EMR/EHR and practice management software.
