Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Acosta for a Healthcare Specialist. The Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for providing professional medical care, conducting health evaluations, and supporting individuals or animals within the organization. Additional responsibilities include delivering training programs related to health and safety, ensuring effective communication with team members, and maintaining thorough records of health services provided.QualificationsProficiency in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) practices and hands-on experience in healthcare provisionStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact across teams and stakeholdersSolid background in medicine and healthcare, with the ability to provide expert advice and perform assessmentsExperience in offering training related to health management or safety protocolsAbility to work effectively on-site and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environmentBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, medicine, or a related fieldPrior experience working in wildlife research or related environmental healthcare areas is a plus
