(Ref: 232272)Outpatient Department Part Time 22.5 hours per weekFixed Term for 12 months Band 3 - Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum pro-rata plusDistant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum pro rataAre you an experienced Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) or Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) with enthusiasm to take on a new challenge?The outpatients department supports a variety of local and visiting services across medical and surgical specialities. These include minor ops, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology and many more. Alongside venepuncture and 12 lead ECG you will have the opportunity to develop skills in diabetic feet screening, visual acuity and assisting with aseptic procedure e.g. minor op and eye injections. This post is a great opportunity for a HCSW looking to develop new clinical and communication skills as you will have the opportunity to lead clinics independently.You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role details can be viewed onThis contract is for a fixed-term period of 12 months. The reason for the fixed-term contract is to cover maternity leave.
