Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Administration team in the capacity of:HEART Trainee – Belmont Dukes (Contract) (Grade 2) Provide efficient administrative assistance to support the Branch Manager and Financial Advisors in achieving the objectives of the Branch. In partnership with HEART/NSTA TRUST, Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking candidates for the School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) specially designed to bridge the gap between school and the world of work for recent school leavers. Our School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) is for school leavers between the ages of 17 to 23, who have six or more CXC or GCE passes including English Language and Mathematics. In the SLTOP, trainees have the opportunity to work with Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited for up to one year, where they can fully acquaint themselves with the company’s daily operations in order to gain rich, immersive practical knowledge. Location: Kingston As HEART Trainee, You Will Provide administrative support in the day-to-day activities of the branch ensuring customer satisfaction. Process applications with 100% accuracy within the stipulated timelines. Assist with checking applications, coding biographical information, supporting documents and submit to the Branch Administration Associate. Prepare and submit reports on an ongoing basis within the stipulated timeframes and accuracy levels. Dispatch policy contracts and policy acknowledgement receipts ensuring that all information is accurate at all times within the stipulated timeframes. Sort and dispatch incoming branch mails within the stipulated timeframe Perform any other job-related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? A minimum of six (6) CXC or GCE “O” level subjects including English Language and a numeric subject. Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Courteous, professional, and client-focused demeanour. Good organizational and time management abilities. Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
