Job Description

*PROGRAM ANALYST – ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE*_\*\*\* This position requires travel approximately 50% to 75% of the time to various facilities in the United States, including rural and tribal areas. \*\*\*_At *Heartland Consulting* we are looking for a highly competent and *experienced Program Analyst – Environmental Compliance* to integrate our team of specialists to lead the implementation and evaluation of environmental management programs. The program analyst will help track audit findings, manage documentation workflows, coordinate deliverables, and prepare high-quality data reports for compliance monitoring and federal reporting.

*KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Track and compile environmental audit results, corrective action statuses, and technical assistance data using structured spreadsheets and SharePoint platforms. Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly progress reports, quarterly trend analyses and annual closure summaries. Writing audit reports, PowerPoint briefings, compliance logs, and conclusion panels. Coordinate and maintain the master audit program, the deliverable tracker, and document versioning. Conduct data quality reviews to ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit-related inputs, findings, status and follow-up actions. Provide administrative support for virtual and face-to-face meetings, including preparation of materials, note-taking and management of follow-up elements.

Help ensure that all documentation and deliverables comply with federal standards. Work closely with auditors, project managers and technical staff to ensure timely reporting and continuous improvement of program processes. *REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL PROFILE* Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Environmental Policy, Data Analysis, Business or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience supporting federal, environmental, or regulatory programs. Strong reporting and data management skills with Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Word/PowerPoint. Familiarity with environmental regulations, compliance frameworks, or EMS (Environmental Management Systems) is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

You must be a U. S. citizen and eligible to work on federal contracts.
