Job Description

Ward 6 is an 18 bedded ward providing a high standard of care for older patients.We work closely with therapists and MDT to care for and plan a safe discharge for our patients. We also specialise in movement disorders.The main duties of a band 2 HCA is to assist the nursing staff in the care of our patient group. The role involves caring for a patients activities of daily living, nutrition and hydration and continence needs. Also promoting activity and monitoring pressure area care.
