Company Description We suggest you enter details here Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic located in the Greater Sydney Area. The Heavy Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing issues with diesel engines and heavy equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of machinery. The mechanic will also need to maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed and ensure that all machinery complies with safety and operational regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment MaintenanceExpertise in Diesel Mechanics and working with Heavy EquipmentExperience in performing Preventive Maintenance tasksStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and record-keeping skillsRelevant certifications and qualifications in mechanics or related fieldsAbility to work efficiently in an on-site environmentPrevious experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent
