Join our team of People-Focused Problem Solvers and build a career where your contributions truly make a difference!Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Heavy-Duty Shop Apprentice Level 3/4 will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a variety of equipment in a safe, effective, accurate and timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair equipmentUtilize OEM diagnosis software and interface tools to repair of Doosan Heavy Equipment, Bobcat excavators/loaders, and other equipment. Work closely with the OEM Technical support groupInterpret work orders and technical manualsPerform routine scheduled, planned maintenance services and safety inspectionsMake recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvementBuild and maintain customer relationships through Service AdvisorRoad test equipment and check attachment operation as requiredComplete detailed service reports, timecards, warranty documentation and other documentationEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction, through quality of repairsThink logically and keep up with changes in technologyEmploy workplace health and safety practices at all timesBe motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervisionOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment as outlined aboveExcellent diagnostic skillsSelf-motivated and can work with minimal supervisionSuperb customer service skillsTeam OrientedTraining, Education and Experience: High School DiplomaMust be a Skilled registered Apprentice level 3 or higher.
