This opportunity is based at the Centre of Excellence Workshop in Stellenbosch and offers a structured pathway for individuals eager to qualify as Fitters & Turners (Millwrights) through both theoretical and practical training.This apprenticeship is ideal for young, passionate individuals who are disciplined, technically inclined, and determined to build a long-term career in engineering or manufacturing. Participants will gain valuable hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals within one of the world’s leading beverage companies.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an apprentice at Heineken Beverages, you will:Undergo a structured Millwright training programme to qualify as a Fitter & Turner.Participate in all learning and development sessions related to the apprenticeship.Execute all allocated workshop duties under supervision.Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to quality control procedures.Support the engineering team with maintenance and technical projects.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational guidelines at all times.Qualifications And RequirementsEducational Requirements:Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science.N2 Certificate in Engineering Studies with relevant Mechanical Trade Theory (attach certified copy).Preferred Skills And AttributesExcellent technical and mechanical aptitude.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work accurately under pressure.Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Additional RequirementsMust have own reliable transport.Willingness to work overtime when necessary.Flexibility to be deployed at other Heineken Beverages facilities if required.Why Join Heineken Beverages?Heineken Beverages offers a dynamic learning environment where apprentices are encouraged to grow their technical and professional skills.
