Your Role at HFM: We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed IT User Support Officer to join our dynamic team. As an IT User Support Officer at HF Markets, you will be the first line of technical support for office staff, ensuring systems, hardware, and software are running smoothly. This role is essential to delivering seamless IT operations and providing an excellent user experience across the organization.
Your role at HF Markets: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktop hardware, operating systems, and common productivity applications to end users. Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults. Troubleshoot Computer systems, telephony systems, and network-related issues. Respond to I. T. departmental support tickets. Respond promptly to call-outs. Prepare IT workstations and access credentials for new employees, ensuring onboarding readiness Track IT assets assigned to users, including laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and mobile devices, to maintain accurate inventory records. Responsible for the proper and efficient Documentation and filling of all documents relating to the above procedures.
Work as part of a team and provide 24/5 support where necessary. Follow all internal policies and procedures as set out by the line manager. Handle user onboarding and off-boarding processes, including account setup, permissions management, and desk hardware installation for new employees. Set up network and peripheral cabling for user desks, ensuring proper cable management for accessibility and a clutter-free workspace. Provide remote support for users working off-site or travelling, including VPN connectivity, remote troubleshooting, and configuration of remote access tools.
Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals, ensuring they are properly connected, configured, and available on the network. RequirementsDegree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years’ experience in a similar position. Fluency in Greek and English.
