With operations based in multiple locations including Airdrie, Boston, Westwick, and Jersey, our commitment to quality and sustainability drives everything we do.We are currently looking for experienced HGV Drivers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting our products safely and efficiently across various routes while maintaining the highest standards of driving and customer service. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring timely deliveries and fostering positive relationships with our clients.If you're a skilled driver with a passion for the industry, we would love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesOperate HGV vehicles to transport products to customers and within various company sitesFollow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulationsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that vehicles are safe and roadworthyComplete necessary paperwork such as delivery documentation and vehicle checklists accurately and promptlyCommunicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure smooth operationsAssist with loading and unloading of products as required, ensuring proper handling and careMaintain a high level of customer service during each deliveryRequirementsValid HGV driving license (Class 1 or Class 2) is essentialPrevious experience driving HGVs, particularly in the transportation of perishable goods, is preferredStrong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic lawsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills and customer service orientationGood organizational skills and attention to detailWillingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, late nights, and weekends when necessaryHourly rate: £15.79/hour plus shift allowance7 days over 14 rotational shifts availableBenefitsPension PlansLife AssuranceLeave PackageTraining & DevelopmentFree Parking
