Industry: AgricultureJob Summary: The Deputy General Manager (DGM) supports the General Manager in driving strategy, operations, and business growth. This role oversees daily operations, leads cross-functional teams, ensures profitability, and supports expansion aligned with our clients sustainability and innovation goals. Main Responsibilities: Support GM in strategy and annual plans. Lead operations: production, procurement, logistics, QA, and business development. Improve supply chain, cost control, and product innovation. Manage teams with leadership and performance coaching. Align with sales/marketing to meet market demand. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Drive business development and execute projects. Monitor KPIs, budgets, and financial performance.
Oversee pricing, financial planning, and profitability. Act as Acting GM when required. Main Requirements: Bachelors degree in Agribusiness, Business, Food Science, Supply Chain (Masters preferred). 5-7 years in agribusiness/food production, 3+ years in senior leadership. Strong knowledge of agriculture, supply chains, and food markets. Leadership, business acumen, problem-solving, and stakeholder management. English proficiency; knowledge of sustainability and food safety is an advantage.
