We're Hiring: Research Scientist (Onsite – Hershey, PA)Client is looking for a hands-on, curious, and detail-driven Research Scientist to join their Chocolate Product Development R&D Team in Hershey, PA. This role is all about rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with pilot plant trials, lab-scale testing, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll help bring new chocolate innovations to life—supporting everything from equipment testing and production protocols to documentation, troubleshooting, and process monitoring. What You’ll Do:
Partner with R&D leads to prep and run large-scale production testsTrack equipment performance, yields, downtime, and quality metricsIdentify and escalate product issues quickly and clearlyLearn and maintain R&D equipment; document SOPsWork closely with teams across R&D, quality, and operationsWhat We’re Looking For:
BS in Science or Engineering preferredExperience in food manufacturing, labs, pilot plants, or GMP environmentsStrong written/oral communication and documentation skillsComfortable working on your feet in a lab or production settingAble to lift up to 50 lbs and work with food allergens while using PPESolid Microsoft Office skillsA collaborative mindset and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesThis is an onsite role in Hershey, PA where you'll be part of a fast-moving, high-impact R&D program.
